Aim

To provide basic Health & Safety awareness training for all personnel undertaking work on all water network and process sites within the UK

Objectives

Candidates to achieve the Energy & Utility Skills, Utility SHEA Water card which is a mandatory requirement for EU Skills registration, and recommended for access to water network and process sites

All candidates must complete 10 units, including the 7 core modules plus 3 Network or Process modules.  Dual registration is possible, if required, on completion of 13 units.

Methods

Trainer led theory sessions, followed by EU Skills multi choice assessment.

Pre-requisites

It is recommended that candidates possess a current National Water Hygiene qualification, which is mandatory to enter a clean water site. Additional training can be provided where required.
