Training for the National Health Service (NHS)
Utilise Healthcare staff have experience of working within an NHS environment and are well aware of the difficulties the NHS face in releasing staff for training. Utilise NVQs are therefore uniquely individualised, with the training programmes and on-site delivery specifically tailored to meet the training needs of individual departments.
The programme is specially tailored programme to suit the NHS. Training is provided in house and on site. It is delivered by a specialist team of trainers and assessors with health service experience and is fully funded if staff are over 19, it is their first NVQ and they have less than 5 GCSEs. The content depends on what a particular department needs but the expectation is that NVQs will be completed between 6 to 12 months. A positive selling point is the fact that the NVQs are matched to the key skills framework, which can enable staff who gain better qualifications to get through the gateways for pay increases.
